The 2004 Higher School Certificate came to an end for almost 52,000 students on Saturday when they received their Universities Admission Indexes. UAIs are used by NSW and Australian Capital Territory universities to determine which courses students are eligible to study. Only students who complete at least 10 units in the Higher School Certificate receive a UAI.
